Fight back
We all deserve access to health care and should have insurance that covers our medical needs. For many of us that includes abortion. Today there are still communities are excluded from comprehensive coverage, including immigrants, native, indigenous, military, and transgender people in our region for whom abortion access is not covered federally. This means that our fight for abortion access is connected with immigrant justice, transgender rights, and the rights of anyone impacted by policies preventing them from accessing abortion. Our lived experiences and our struggles are entwined. We must show up for each other to ensure that no one is denied access or insurance coverage for abortion care or other essential reproductive health care.
